2011 Villamagna DOC Riserva I due Archi, Abruzzi, Italy

Slightly developed, somewhat toasty, woody-spicy aroma of ripe, partly preserved mixed berries and somewhat candied cherries. Ripe, juicy, preserved fruit with chocolaty aromas, pickled cherries and rum pot, noticeable alcohol, some chocolate and coffee on the palate, slightly sandy tannin, some bite, notes of candy in the background, some dried fruit, delicate sweetness, not very deep, good finish
