Firm nose, partly preserved black berries, some plums and cherries, hint of dry herbs and licorice. Clear, polished, dark fruit, some cocoa, very fine tannins, straightforward style, almost a little smooth style, herbaceous and nutty notes, some licorice, some smoky notes, slightly sooty in the background, good to very good finish.
