2015 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC/DOP, Abruzzi, Italy

Astringent, somewhat animal and earthy scent of more black than red berries with vegetable notes. Vegetable also in the mouth, again rather tart fruit, quite clear citrus aromas, fine, soft sandy tannin, some persistence, a little acid bite, very slightly covered, nutty and chocolaty hints, hinted spicy, quite good finish.
