Firm and quite deep, slightly tobacco and nutty nose, ripe, predominantly black berries, some dried herbs, tar, mint, mineral notes and a hint of bacon. Firm, juicy, quite polished fruit, nutty, delicate tobacco and spicy oak notes, firm, fine tannins and some bite, persistent on the palate, good depth and substance, looks astonishingly elegant and almost cool, in the background mineral, peppery and herbaceous nuances, very slightly dried floral, has freshness and life, very good, tart and taut, juicy and tobacco finish, again with quite distinct mineral and mint. Allowed to mature.
