2015 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Il Colle del Fante", Tuscany, Italy

Nutty, smoky, tobacco and somewhat burnt-woody nose of predominantly red berries with animal and earthy notes. Tight, tart fruit with a little smoky wood, nutty tones and quite present acidity, dried vegetable to herbal aromas on the palate, somewhat spicy, good persistence, salt in the background, not too deep, very slightly brittle, good to very good, tart finish with bite and still noticeable tannic attack.
