Overripe black fruit on the nose, prominent spicy oak, fairly prominent malted notes, chocolate, sooty and roasted notes, coffee and cereals. Quite concentrated and full-bodied on the palate, overripe fruit, loads of oak, quite fine ,but slightly brittle tannins, compact, almost monolithic structure, slightly persistent, but not a lot of real depth, appears slightly constructed, attractive to good finish.
