2003 Barbaresco DOCG Masseria, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Ripe cherries and red berries on an alcoholic nose. Quite juicy in the mouth, ripe cherry and berry fruit, roasted oak and chocolate notes, fairly prominent, slightly astringent tannins, noticabel alcohol on the palate, medium acidity, quitep olished, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish. Needs some time to mature.
