2007 Côtes du Roussillon-Villages AOC Grande Réserve Château Montner, Roussillon, France

Fairly closed nose, red and black berries and some cherries, delicate floral notes, earthy notes and some old oak. Clear, polished, fairly tart fruit on the palate, spicy oak, roasted notes, vegetal and earthy notes, good persistence, quite firm, fairly prominent fine tannins, hint of coffee, roasted notes and spicy oak on a good fruity finish.

Best to drink: 2011-2016+. What our ratings mean
