2015 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Sorleone", Tuscany, Italy

Tart, slightly earthy and dried-vegetal to tobacco scent of predominantly dark berries with hints of dried-mushroom and undergrowth aromas. Ripe, firm, tart, juicy fruit, fairly fresh looking, fine, present, youthful tannins and delicate acid bite, persistent on the palate, strong, but lively despite the high alcohol, fine, bitter bitter chocolate and spicy tones on the palate, good substance and sustainability , some peanut and salt in the background, good depth, very good, firm, rather tart finish. May still mature a little.
