2005 Goriška brda Merlot trocken, Primorska, Slovenia

Tranquil berry nose, delicate vegetal and earthy notes, light hint of oak. Quite harmonious on the palate with soft, polished fruit, a hint of vanilla and delicate herbaceous traces, very fine-grained tannins, made in a modern style, slightly astringent on an attractive finish.
