2006 Goriška brda Modri Pinot trocken Modri Pinot Selekcija, Primorska, Slovenia

Fairly mature and also fairly shy nose, partly overripe and dried berries, some medicinal herbs and undergrowth. Extremely mature again on the palate, fairly light-bodied in relation to the noticeable alcohol, gentle berry fruit, moderate old oak, light nutty traces, very tranquil, fairly prominent tannins, fine-grained, but also quite astringent on an attractive to good finish.
