2004 D.O.Ca Rioja Graciano Crianza Valserrano, La Rioja, Spain

Editor note: Slightly diffuse nose, spicy oak, sour cherries and dark berries, dried vegetal notes, light herbs and spices. Tart fruit on the palate, cool, fairly prominent acidity, fine sandy tannins, vegetal and earthy notes, elegant tart spicy notes, light oak, becomes more juicy with aeration, has some depth, noticeable acid bite on a rather austere finish. Gains considerably with aeration, presents itself in a much better light than at the first tasting.
