Dried berries and preserved red fruit, cherries on the nose, light vegetal notes. Slightly tart mixed berry fruit on the palate, quite persistent, rather astringent and slightly brittle tannins detract from the wine, which is quite juicy, and has some substance, still quite youthful, astringent again on an otherwise attractive to good finish.
