2006 V.T. de Castilla Merlot Templum, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain

Quite an intense red berry nose with some artificial notes, some undergrowth, burnt and fleshy notes. Fairly prominent cherry fruit on the palate, again slightly artificial, approachable, slightly astringent tannins, not a lot of real substance, but fairly juicy, attractive finish.
