2015 AOC Valais Gamay Vieilles Vignes, Wallis/Valais, Switzerland

Cool, herbal, fairly polished nose of red and a little black berries with earthy and delicately dried and mushroom notes, as well as a hint of tobacco and mineral notes. Clear, rather tart fruit with dried vegetal, nutty and earthy tones, a little cocoa on the palate, noticeable salt, certain strength and good persistence, hinted pome fruit, herbaceous nuances, good to very good finish.
