2017 Carnuntum Prellenkirchen Blaufränkisch trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, quite polished nose of ripe mixed berries and cherries with slightly tobacco wood notes and delicately dried floral and peppery nuances. Clear, quite juicy, rather dark fruit with tart, slightly toasty and tobacco wood spice, some bite, fine, youthful tannin, persistent on the palate, some power, a little peanut and salt in the background, very good finish
