2017 Carnuntum Ried Rosenberg Erste ÖTW Ried trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, firm and deep, hinted roasty-woody scent of predominantly black berries with tobacco and a little herbaceous aromas, also dried floral nuances, cherries and a hint of tar. Ripe, firm, tangy-juicy fruit, some nutty wood spice with a hint of coffee and cocoa, fine, youthful tannin, has power and substance, lasting, good depth, still undeveloped, cooling mineral tones in the background, slightly ethereal, quite complex, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with a certain bite, roast and quite clear minerality
