2016 Barbaresco DOCG Pora, Piedmont, Italy

Clear, delicately tobacco and dried-floral nose, red and a little black berries, touch of gum, nutty traces, fine spicy notes and earthy to mineral notes. Firm, tart, quite juicy fruit with nutty and slightly cocoa-spicy notes, fine, youthful tannins, dried floral notes, dense and persistent, polished, quite deep, still rather undeveloped, opens with air, smooth style, a little salt in the background, spicy nuances, very good, firm, juicy finish with woodsy, mineral and hint of peppery notes.
