2014 Villány-Siklós Merlot trocken DHC Villány Classicus, Südliches Transdanubien, Hungary

Light earthy notes and a hint of tobacco on the nose, dark mulberries, some cherries and a hint of cassis, some undergrowth. Clear, polished, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty and earthy notes, undergrowth, delicate vegetal and herbaceous traces, hint of mushrooms, good persistence, salty notes in the background, fairly firm structure, elegant style, very expressive for a Merlot with such a low level of alcohol, touch of braised bell peppers in the background, hint of coffee, very good finish.
