The “Wein- & Sektgut Corbet” is located in the municipality of Neustadt-Diedesfeld (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region palatinate
, It is managed in the fourth family generation by Lukas and Christina Corbet. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards on the slopes of the Haardt Mountains in the districts of Diedesfeld, Hambach, Maikammer and Neustadt. They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Silvaner and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Portuguese, Cabernet Sauvignon and St. Laurent. Environmentally friendly viticulture is practiced consistently. The wines are little moved and filtered during expansion, without fining and sweet reserve. The white wines are fermented slowly and are stored for a long time , With the aim of dense, strong red wines, the yields are greatly reduced and only healthy grapes with good coloring are hand-picked. After the mash fermentation and the BSA they are aged in small wooden barrels or in barriques. A specialty of the house is the production of sparkling wine in its own sparkling wine cellar using the traditional bottle fermentation process.
