The “Wein- & Sektkellerei Kirchmayr Weinerlebnis Kirchmayr GmbH & Co. KG ”with headquarters in the municipality of Weistrach in western Lower Austria was founded by Hans Kirchmayr. The business has been run by the siblings Andreas and Christina Kirchmayr since 2001.
There are no separate vineyards. The grapes come from long-term producers with a total of 140 hectares of vineyards from nine Austrian wine regions in the best locations. After the harvest, the grapes are transported to Weistrach in refrigerated vehicles. The wines are vinified in the Meierhof cellar of the Seitenstetten Abbey, about ten kilometers away.
