2003 Pinot Noir trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Mature nose with some dried cranberries and currants, delicate hint of forest floor. Some moredried and preserved red berries on the palate, full-bodied and big, but also has cool mineral notes and a tannic backbone, both meaty and tart notes, light herbaceous notes, individual style, the hot vintage is evident, quite intersting and also quite firm, prominent fine-grained but also slightly astringent tannins, good finish.
