2005 Carnuntum Malbec Landwein trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Mature nose with prominent vegetal notes, green herbaceous notes, light hint of mulberries and plums. Fairly cool style, gently rounded and perserved blue fruit on the palate, moderate oak, very slightly astringent and very fine-grained tannins, spicy notes and a hint of dark chocolate in the background, light medicinal components, but remain unobtrusive, elegant, still quite youthful, good finish.
