2005 Sauvignon Blanc trocken Erdfass, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Deep, dense and complex, tart-herbal to herbal and mineral, also very lightly yeast-covered, with a bitter and spicy nose with dried-yellow-fruity aromas, green-vegetable notes and earthy minerality. Dense, strong and juicy in the mouth, ripe, creamy fruit with a fine acid bite and tart vegetal and herbal aromas, very persistent on the palate, firm and fairly deep, cool mineral notes, yeasty notes, still looks very young, earthy and delicate peppery Notes, a little nut, very complex, long length. Currently fluctuates in the open air: close, then open, then close again. Be sure to decant and wait for the right moment - or leave it there for a few more years.
