The winery is located in the community Stratzing near the city Krems
in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Kremstal
, The winegrower's house was bought by the great-grandfather of today's plant manager Maria Graf-Faltl in 1890 and since then has always been handed down for generations. The Koststüberl dates from the 16th century and is adorned with Renaissance rosettes. In the upper part of the cellar comes the Gothic vault from the 14th to the 15th century. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the bulk of the Kremser sandpit
, which are planted with the varieties Grüner Veltliner, Rivaner, Malvasier ( Frühroter Veltliner
), Chardonnay and Blauer Zweigelt. The management follows the guidelines of the KIP
(Controlled Integrated Production). The fermentation and expansion of the wines takes place in stainless steel tanks with the aim of fruity and varietal wines. Special red wines ripen in barriques. It also fruit brandies (apricot, plum, pear, elderberry), partly matured in barriques grape spirits, and naturally cloudy juices (apple carrot, grape) are produced.
