The estate is located in the Klingenberg municipality (Mainviereck area) in the German wine-growing region Franconia, It was founded in 1972 by Hedwig and Willi Stritzinger. However, viticulture played a role in the family much earlier, because in an old document an ancestor is called " cooper and arable ”.
