, Viticulture has been practiced in the traditional family since 1750. Until the 1950s, a butcher's shop was also in operation. Of the total of 21.5 hectares, 16.5 hectares are used for agriculture, two for fruit growing and three for wine growing. The areas of agriculture and fruit growing are managed by Heinrich Hofmann, the viticulture since 2004 by his son Mario. The vineyards cover three hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Geißberg, Wachhügel (Wiesenbronn) and Kirchberg
(Castell). They are planted with the white varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Bacchus and Müller-Thurgau, as well as the red varieties Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Regent and Portuguese. The wide range of products is in base, summer time (new franc), premium (in bocksbeutel
bottled) and super premium (max. 45 hl / ha yield, aged in barriques). A large range of fine brandies (fruit, pomace) and liqueurs are produced in the in-house distillery.
