The winery is located in the municipality German shooters in the Austrian DAC area Eisenberg, The family business is managed by Manfred and Edith Kopfensteiner, son Thomas and his wife Astrid in the third generation. The vineyards cover 13 hectares of vineyards in Deutsch Schützen and on the Eisenberg in the Bründlgfangen vineyards, Szápari and vineyard, 95% of them are planted with the red varieties Blaufränkisch (60%), Merlot, Zweigelt, Blauburger and Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% with Welschriesling. Environmentally friendly viticulture is practiced. Quality criteria are exact thin out, Defoliation of the grape zone and physiological grape ripeness, In the cellar, the principle applies "that deficits in the grape material can no longer be made up, neither by over-motivated work, nor by so-called new cellar technologies" . The flagship of the house is the red wine cuvée “Border” ( Blaufränkisch , Cabernet Sauvignon), which has been aged in new French barriques. Other premium wines are different Blaufränkisch .
