The winery is located in the municipality German Kreutz in the Austrian DAC area Mittelburgenland, The family has been involved in viticulture for generations. In 1993 Hermine and Matthias Kovacs took over the family business and started bottling. They are supported by son Michael. The vineyards cover over six hectares of vineyards on sandy loam and gravel soils with a high proportion of lime. They are made with the red varieties Blaufränkisch , Zweigelt, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Müller-Thurgau and Chardonnay. The vineyards are cultivated in harmony with nature, all work steps up to the harvest are done by hand. Quality criteria are healthy, mature grape material, gentle processing and temperature-controlled fermentation in steel tanks. The top red wines are aged in barriques. Premium wines include, for example Mittelburgenland DAC ( Blaufränkisch ), as well as the red wine blend "The Five Elements" from all four red wine varieties. If the weather is suitable, an ice wine is also made. Grape juice is also produced.
