2005 Mittelburgenland trocken "Das fünfte Element", Burgenland, Austria

Raspberries and blackberries on the nose, delicate smoky and fruity notes, sweetish spice. Clear, fairly light-bodied fruit on the palate, straightforward, hint of old oak, quite fine, slightly astringent tannins, smoky and roasted notes in the background, elegant, sweetish spice, well balanced, some coffee on an attractive to good finish.
