2017 Mittelburgenland DAC Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Hint of tobacco on the nose, red and some black berries, floral aromas, ethereal, spicy traces. Fairly cool, light fruit on the palate, noticeable acid bite, sandy, slightly astringent tannins, touch of herbs and spices, citrus zests in the background, light salty notes, not particularly deep, slightly astringent on a good, peppery finish.
