2016 Wagram Ried Schlossberg Grüner Veltliner trocken ÖTW Erste Lage, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, quite deep, herbaceous-vegetable to slightly tobacco and clearly mineral core fruit scent with peach notes and a hint of bacon. Firmly knit, ripe, melting and juicy fruit, light nutty yeasty tones and herbaceous vegetal notes, a hint of pepper, persistent on the palate, somewhat melting but also with a lot of grip of ripe tannin, good depth, still young, light tobacco nuances, very good finish with grip, some bacon and fresh vegetal tones.
