The estate is located in the municipality of Leutesdorf in the German wine-growing region middle Rhine, Family winegrowing dates back to 1540 over 15 generations. At that time the ancestor Konrad Mohr cultivated not only his own property but also vineyards of the church. The estate has been run by Georg Mohr since 1994, who has been supported by his brother Martin since 2000. In addition to the winery, there is also a wine trade for customers from the catering trade. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards in the Forstberg, Gartenlay and Rosenberg (Leutesdorf) locations. They are planted with the white varieties Riesling, Kerner, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir and Blauer Portugieser.
A peculiarity is that in the past few years three hectares on the upbringing Vertiko was converted. The wines are mainly aged in stainless steel and plastic tanks. A few barriques are only available for the red wines. If necessary, the must is deacidified and fermented with pure yeast at cool temperatures. Remaining sweet wines are preferably created by "stopping", occasionally also by using a sweet reserve. Sparkling wines, noble distillates (yeast, pomace) and liqueurs are also produced.
