2013 Königsbach Idig Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Fairly tart nose, spicy toasted oak, dried vegetal notes, black and red berries, drid flowers, some tobacco and leaves, resiny herbaceous notes, particularly rosemary, earthy and mineral notes. Tart, juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, vegetal notes and herbaceous traces, hint of tobacco and some pepper, smoky, spicy oak, fairly prominent salty mineral notes, persistent, toasted and some spicy notes, good substance and persistence, some sugar candy, bite and grip, very good ripe juicy finish with a hint of pepper and some mushrooms.
