2011 Merlot trocken Grosse Reserve, Württemberg, Germany

Hint of tobacco on the nose, black and red berries, moderate spicy oak, touch of bell peppers. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, spicy, toasted oak, touch of chocolate, integrated tannins, good substance and persistence, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, spicy and smoky traces, hint of tobacco, light grip, some depth, very good ripe, warm, juicy finish.

Reife, eher dunkle Frucht im Mund, wieder viel rauchiges bis rußiges Holz, gewürzige Töne am Gaumen, leicht vegetabil und erdig, überwiegend mürbes, etwas sandiges Tannin, wärmender Alkohol, gute Nachhaltigkeit, zart milchige Anklänge, nicht ewig tief, gewinnt aber mit Luft, guter bis sehr guter, würziger und eine Spur kompottiger Abgang.
