2018 Westhofen Morstein Riesling trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Fairly firm, slightly muted nose, light vegetal and floral notes, light yellow fruit aromas, tart mineral notes. Tart and restrained fruit on the palate, again slightly muted, but becomes more juicy with aeration, nutty and dried vegetal notes, noticeable tannins, still slightly astringent, yeasty traces, good substance and persistence, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, full body, noticeable mineral notes in the background, delicate bitter touch on a very good finish.
