2018 Geisenheim Roter Riesling VDP.Ortswein trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Cool nose, vegetal and light floral notes, restrained yellow fruit, earthy and nutty traces, hint of tobacco. Basically dry, again restrained fruit on the palate, nutty and earthy notes, hint of tobacco, integrated acidity, noticeable, slightly astringent tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, some substance and persistence, slightly bitter phenolic notes in the background, slightly creamy, good to very good finish.
