2008 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Römigberg, Alto Adige, Italy

Somewhat developed, slightly animal and leathery aroma of partly preserved mixed berries and grilled peppers with herbal, old woody and earthy tones. In the mouth quite polished, tart berry fruit, spicy, dried herbal and earthy mineral notes, slightly chocolaty wood, clearly tobacco and some malt, fine-grained tannin, fine acid bite, firmly built, has juice and good persistence, very good finish
