Rather cool, slightly smoky and somewhat dried-herbal aroma of red and a little black berries with dried-floral nuances, a touch of pepper and metallic-mineral notes. Tart, quite juicy, slightly developed fruit, smoky, nutty, herbal and spicy tones, fine tannin and some bite, toasty hints, mineral tones in the background, good persistence, very good, quite juicy and spicy, again slightly smoky finish with some bite. Much more convincing than in its youth.

Best to drink: Bis 2023+. What our ratings mean

Weiche Frucht im Mund, etwas vegetabil, getrocknet-pilzig und nussig, erdige bis mineralische Töne im Hintergrund, ganz leicht welk-floral, ein Hauch schwarzer Beeren, feiner Saft, überwiegend mürbes Tannin, schokoladige Anklänge, recht guter Abgang.
