2018 Weißburgunder trocken "Montonia", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear nose, light yeasty, nutty and floral notes, yellow fruit aromas, hint of olive oil, herbs and prominent mineral notes. Clear, tart, fairly cool fruit on the palate, taut acidity, noticeable tannic grip, vegetal and herbaceous aromas, prominent mineral notes, hint of white pepper, nutty aromas in the background, hint of tobacco, some depth, still undeveloped, some grip on a very good, firm, tart finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
