The traditional winery is located in the municipality of Nussdorf south of Krems in the Lower Austrian wine region Traisental, The family has been growing wine since 1838. Today it is run by Alfred Holzer and son Andreas. The vineyards cover 12 hectares of vineyards, for example in the Riede Steinbühl. They are 70% planted with the white varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, and 30% with the red varieties Zweigelt, Blauburger, Blaufränkisch , Merlot, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. In the vineyard there is a natural, environmentally friendly management. Quality criteria are high leaf walls, yield reduction and an optimally selected harvest time. The premium wines include Rieslings and Grüne Veltliner and Traisental DAC Reserve, as well as the red wine cuvée "Quercus" (Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt). Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, frizzants and fine spirits are also produced. The winery is a member of Association of Traisentaler Weingärtner,
