1999 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Quite fresh aromas of citrus and peaches, with hints of fine herbs. Clean, elegantly juicy fruit, elegant acidity, powerful and rich for a Kabinett, firm mineral foundation, intense and persistent on the palate, dry character, spicy long finish. Hardly a typical Kabinett, but a very good Riesling that is at its peak.
