Very spicy nose of partly overripe, baked plums, cherries, black berries, bread crust and oak, with a smoky note. Firmly woven, full-bodied and juicy fruit, piquant acidity, fine-grained tannins still quite present, toasty oak notes on the palate, excellent structure, deep and persistent, powerful body, complex, very long finish. Needs time.
