2001 Assmannshausen Höllenberg Spätburgunder trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Enticing, complex aromas of red berries, blueberries, cherries and some mineral notes. Clean and juicy in the mouth, lively acidity and lots of red berry fruit, still very youthful, firm structure, mineral notes on the palate, very elegant, fine-grained tannins, concentrated and persistent, elegant style, very delicate oak aromas in the background, excellent balance, long finish.
