Very firm, intense, notes of minerals, herbs and spices, aromas of peaches, citrus fruits and green apples. Clean, elegantly juicy fruit, racy acidity, at first appears much lighter than it is, then incredibly intense and persistent on the palate, gripping, complex and very big in a very strict, disciplined sort of style, will take years to show its full potential, very long finish. A genuine "Grand Cru" among the First Growths I have tasted so far. Likely to improve further with age.
