2002 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Spätlese trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Aromas of kohlrabi, peach and citrus fruit, with herbal notes and elegantly proportioned mineral notes. Quite sweet fruit, strong mineral character, with elegant, crisp acidity, quite persistent on the palate, good structure, good length. Only the slightly diffuse, sweetish fruit detracts from the wine at this stage.
