2005 Lorch Schlossberg Riesling Auslese Goldkapsel, Rheingau, Germany

Vegetable, somewhat mineral nose, still very closed and covered with a clear stone fruit note in the background. Elegant in the mouth with clear peach fruit and lots of play, delicately juicy and persistent, the delicate, polished acidity weighs the sweetness very well, shows nuances and some depth, character and structure, almost prancing fruit with a good to long finish.
