2016 Mussbach Kurfürst Gewürztraminer Spätlese, Pfalz, Germany

Light floral, vegetal and spicy notes on the nose, lychee, apple and a hint of citrus fruit, herbaceous traces. Sweet, partly candied fruit on the palate, prominent yellow spice and candied lemon, integrated acidity, some substance and persistence, light tannic grip, hint of dried fruit, slightly muted, slight bitter touch typical of the variety, hint of pepper and tobacco, more prominent sugar candy and yellow spice on a good to very good sweet finish.
