2011 Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Very firm,, tart nose, dried vegetal and light yeasty notes, intense mineral notes, partly candied citrus fruit and stone fruit, bergamotte, light floral notes, hint of tobacco. Very firm again on the palate, also tremendously juicy, concentrated, deep and gripping, very elegant, lively acidity, herbaceous, vegetal and floral traces, hint of red berries in the background, persitent, deep, light grip, still young, full-bodied but not heavy, creamy, but also has bite, long, firm, juicy, very minerally finish, currently in its initial drinking phase, but will probably be best in another 7 to 10 years.
