2017 Hattenheim Nußbrunnen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, tranquil nose, light vegetal and nutty notes, ripe yellow fruit, touch of yellow spice, lovage and pepper, prominent earthy mineral notes. Clear, ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, yellow spice, more light nutty aromas, light vegetal and floral notes, very elegant acidity, prominent earthy and salty mineral notes, persistent, good depth, delicately sweetish and creamy, fairly firm structure, still young, but already quite tranquil and balanced, appears more full-bodied than one would expect from the low level of alcohol, some rhubard, quite complex, very good spicy, gripping finish.
